The main objectives of the Power & Energy laboratory are to establish, maintain and upgrade national standards of Electrical power measurements compatible to international standards through research and development.

The laboratory has been providing traceability of electrical power measurements to the customers at international level through inter-comparisons in the field of electrical power/energy & high voltage.
